NCAA Football 13 will include two rule changes which will be taking effect in NCAA Division I (A) FBS games in the 2012–13 sson. The first rule change is the loion of the ball on kickoffs, where the ball will be moved up 5 yards, in conjunction with NFL kickoff standards which took effect in the 2011–12 sson. Players will also need to stay within 5 yards of the ball on kickoff to prevent a running hd start. The second rule change affects kickoffs and other free kicks where if a player gets a touchback the ball will start on the 25 yard line instd of the 20.
A of gameplay enhancements and improvements will be implemented in "NCAA Football 13". Among those are enhancements to the Quarterback position including: 20 new Quarterback dropbacks, 25 pass trajectory zones (compared to 1 the yr before), a of Quarterback sack avoidance moves, 430 new pass animations and more (not including the others from previous yrs). Also on offense, wide receivers now have better awareness, where icons will now show the level of rdiness a receiver has as they look for the ball. On defense, players will now have to see the ball to make a move and will no longer be able to make "blind swats."
